A scarlet letter

You broke my wings to fit them in your small, fearful world.

And I helped you.

I built a cage for myself, painted in gold with no way in or out.

I was a fairy trapped in her own magical and lonely neverland.

And you forced me to grow up.

Ha, the lost girl-how accurate.

But guess what?
I’m done playing this silly game.

I’m out-there is no cage trapping me.

You’re a liar and you are afraid of me!
But I, I am free now!

And it’s just me and my brave new world!

I did come out of the wilderness!

Deserts can trap you but they do have an end.

So, I came out of the wilderness leaning on my beloved and this-this is how my story ends!
